To prepare for Friday’s quest, you should be able to:

-use appropriate units to measure specific distances (e.g., mm for length of an ant)

-use a ruler to correctly measure line segments to the nearest cm and mm

-convert between mm, cm, m,and km (e.g., 25 mm=2.5 cm)

-read the time on an analogue clock(refer to on line time games given earlier on blog)

-elapsed time (e.g., school begins at 9:15 am, how long till lunch time at 11:55 am?)

-use a ruler to measure the perimeter of simple shapes

-use a grid to find the area of given shapes on the grid

-use multiplication to find the area of a rectangle (e.g., the area of a rectangle that is 7 m long and 6 m wide)
