Healthy Eating Week

We are wrapping up our healthy eating unit next week by having a “Healthy Eating Week”.  Students will record their food intake from Monday-Friday and are encouraged to bring a healthy lunch to school each day next week.  Choose fresh fruits and vegetables over processed and packaged foods.  The students have been told to help their parents with the preparation/packaging of their lunches.  We will then have  a pasta luncheon one day the following week.  I will prepare a whole grain pasta with garlic and olive oil sauce along with a lettuce salad for the class.  You will be notified of the exact day for this luncheon.
