Grade 8’s Discover Pythagorus

The grade 8’s used a number of squares to construct different triangles.  Only certain combinations resulted in right angle triangles.  This led to the conclusion that the area of the two smaller squares was equal to the area of the larger square whenever a right angle triangle was formed.
